This wonderful vacation getaway is a five minute stroll to Tahoe City restaurants, bars and shopping. The home has two living areas with televisions and sleeps eight guests. The living room and dining room are upstairs, open and well lit. The kitchen is well-appointed and has plenty of windows allowing natural light into the home. The whole house is very tastefully furnished with comfortable sleeping quarters and has high quality mattresses with attractive bedding. In the winter, this home is located less than ten minutes from Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts and 20 minutes from Northstar and Homewood ski areas.
In the summer, there is a terrific bike path through Tahoe City that runs along the Truckee River and beyond or down the West Shore. Bike trails are abundant in the area and there are numerous shops in Tahoe City and fine restaurants all along the Northshore to visit.
The beautiful Commons Beach is within walking distance which has free concerts, family movie night, wildlife Wednesdays or open farmers market on Thursdays! High speed internet included (connection not guaranteed)
The casinos are also about 15-20 minutes away.
